How much do you charge for custom bears?
The charge to create a bear is $8 per inch, using your fur. For instance, a 15" bear is $120. Shipping and handling (including insurance and delivery confirmation) is $25 per bear.

How do I send my fur to you?
US Postal Service (Priority mail) is normally 2-3 days in the continental US. Insure for any amount over $200. UPS and FedEx are good options as well.

How many bears can be made from my fur?
A regular size stole normally yields two 15-17" bears. A jacket, depending on length and fullness, can yield 3-5 bears (15-17").
After we evaluate the pelts, we will call you to discuss the possible number (and size) of bears, so you can choose.

Can my bear be personalized?
If we determine that the lining and monogram are in good condition, the necktie can be fashioned from that - or you can choose a color for the ribbon at the neck. The Gallery shows examples of both.

When can I expect to receive my bear?
While there are variables (the number of bears in your order and the time of year that you order), we are usually able to get your bears to you in 2-4 weeks.
